CONTESTANT ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is sponsored by GoPro and Adventure Sports Journal. Employees of these sponsors are not eligible. No purchase or entry fees required. Subject to all federal, state and local laws.

ENTERING THE CONEST/ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR PHOTOS/WAIVERS AND RELEASES
The Contestant may enter one photograph every two weeks. A winner will be chosen on the 15th of every other month beginning with February.

The contest must be entered by visiting www.adventuresportsjournal.com/photocontest/ and by completing the Form by providing your name, city, state, email address, photo title and location. Images must be uploaded in JPG format.

Entries must be solely the original work of the Entrant. Copyright infringement is grounds for immediate disqualification. If the Entry contains any material that the Sponsors deem, in their sole discretion, to be morally objectionable, inappropriate or unfit for publication, such Entry will be immediately disqualified.

Submission of information effectively grants permission for contestant to be added to the sponsors' email opt-in contact list, from which any contestant may opt-out at any time. None of the sponsors will share or distribute the information. Submitted images (prize winning or not) might possibly be used for advertising, whether for the photo contest or otherwise. The selected Grand Prize winner may be used as a cover image for an appropriate issue of Adventure Sports Journal. In the event that an image is utilized, the contestant-owner of the image will be notified, and credit will be granted in the piece. In the event that a submitted images features discernible persons, the Contestant must receive permission to use that person(s)' likeness, and understand that the image may be used for advertising or distribution through the sponsors.

SUBMISSIONS THAT DO NOT COMPLY WITH ANY OF THE ABOVE GUIDELINES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

JUDGING CRITERIA AND WINNER SELECTION/NOTIFICATION
Judges will pick the winner for that month based on Originality, Artistic Composition, Photographic Technique, and Technical Execution. Judges will also take into account the rating each photo has received by fellow photo contest participants.

On or around November 31, 2008 judging for the Grand Prize winner will begin, and these photos will not necessarily be limited to the previous monthly winners.

PRIZES
First Place Winners will be selected every other month. First prize winner will receive one (1) GoPro Helmet Hero camera.

Second and Third Place Winner prizes are still being verified. Stay tuned for details.

Prizes and gift certificates may not be redeemed for cash value.
